EMILY PRESCOTT: Adventurer Ben Fogle takes skinny dip for Ukraine

EMILY PRESCOTT: Watch it Ben or Chernobyl fallout… adventurer Ben Fogle takes skinny dip near notorious nuclear plant for Ukraine

Adventurer Ben Fogle braved the cold – and radioactivity – when he went skinny-dipping in the Pripyat river near Chernobyl on a trip to Ukraine.

The adventurer, who was in the war-torn country to deliver supplies to those in need, tells me: ‘The dip was in solidarity with my Ukrainian brothers and sisters.

‘Despite the risks, I felt compelled to join them for a brief respite from the horrors of war.’

Ben, who has Ukrainian ancestry on his father’s side, first visited the Chernobyl exclusion zone last year for a Channel 5 documentary.

Isaac Hempstead Wright saw plenty of blood as an actor in Game Of Thrones – so his new career as a doctor should be a piece of cake.

The 23-year-old, who played Bran Stark, right, in the fantasy drama, has just enrolled in medical school, and he hopes to become a surgeon.

Nell Tiger Free who played Myrcella Baratheon impressed gig-goers with a live set at the Half Moon in Putney earlier this month, and has her sights set on pop stardom.

Martha’s hot knight

She has some acting credits to her name, but The Crown star Dominic West’s daughter Martha has other creative talents.

I can reveal that the 24-year-old, left, has secretly been writing raunchy fiction under a pseudonym.

Martha, who studied English literature at Oxford, has been posting poems and stories on the Lickerish Library website, a ‘platform for female erotica’.

One of Martha’s poems, too explicit to publish here, is a sexy modern retelling of medieval knight Sir Lancelot seducing Guinevere.

  • Cherie Blair shared a lovely anecdote with me last week at the United Ukrainian Ballet at London Coliseum about the time she and then Prime Minister husband Tony took their son Leo, aged two, to stay at Balmoral. She recalled: ‘The Queen told him to give a dog a biscuit but he gave it the whole packet. The Queen said, “I didn’t mean all of them but the dog will be very grateful.” ‘
