Former footballer David Ginola has left his I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! fans concerned after they were left fearing that the sportsman was feeling “down”, as he was too tired to get up. The Frenchman, 54, was one of the gutted celebrities who did not receive their letter in the WiFi challenge earlier this week.
Is David Ginola OK?
Taking to social media, viewers aired their concerns for the football star.
One I’m A Celebrity viewer Andy Gibson: “Is David Ginola OK? He’s fast asleep.”
“I’ve seen David sleep a lot this year, but that’s ok … Legend and that,” Twitter user Cake It With Nadz penned.
While a third wondered when the sportsman would partake in another Bushtucker Trial in the Welsh Castle.
“When is David going to offer to do a trial, he does nothing but sleep,” Fay Glover wrote.
David’s glum mood comes after he was left furious when a note from his girlfriend Maëva Denat was lost during a trial.
Coronation Street star Simon Gregson and former BBC Breakfast presenter Louise Minchin had the opportunity to win David’s letter at Kiosk Cledwyn’s Ye Olde Shoppe.
But after failing, the pair kept the news from David.
However, Emmerdale legend Danny Miller eventually confessed.
Breaking the news, he said: “I need to be honest. We didn’t get anything.”
David responded: “It’s a b****y joke.”
He went on to tell the camp’s telegraph: “Once again I don’t have my letter.
“That letter from my girlfriend would have boosted me a lot.”
Hours after not getting a letter from home, the former footballer gave an insight into how he was feeling.
Speaking with Danny and Simon, he admitted he “can’t wait” to see Maëva.
He said: “I can’t wait to see my girlfriend.
“Do you know why? Because I want to see something beautiful.”
Adam then quipped: “He’s basically saying we’re minging.”
However, David then perked up as he burst into a rendition of You’re Beautiful by James Blunt.
David had previously burst into tears when reading Danny’s letter from home.
