Christine McGuinness called ‘perfect’ as she displays ‘amazing’ abs in racy video

Christine McGuinness was called "perfect" by stunned fans on Sunday as she flaunted her washboard abs on social media.

The TV star, 34, who earlier exclaimed that she “loves life”, has had a busy few months after separating from her husband, Paddy McGuinness, last July with the estranged couple spending the festive period together so as not to “disrupt” their children’s lives.

And on Sunday, the former Real Housewives of Cheshire star took to Instagram to treat her 692k followers to a picture of her sculpted abs.

“Reset. Restart. Refocus. As many times as you need to,” she captioned the post.

The short clip showed the mum-of-three lounging on a grey sofa while clad in grey jogging bottoms and a black T-shirt, which she pulled up to flash her abs.

Fans gushed over Christine, who recently showcased her new blonde bob, with many taking to the comments to go wild over her abs.

“Hard work paying off you looking good,” wrote one person, as another said, “Wow, that is incredible.”

A third added: “LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS.”

Former Hollyoaks actress Stephanie Davis, who also starred in Celebrity Big Brother, also wrote: “Can I have two of your abs? Back to the gym tomorrow.”

It comes after Christine spent the festive period with estranged husband Paddy so as not to “disrupt” their children’s lives.

Christine and Paddy, 49, share twins Leo and Penelope, nine, who were diagnosed with autism in 2017, while their daughter Felicity, six, was given the same diagnosis three years later.

And Christine, who also revealed she had the condition last year, has told pals it’s important to maintain as much stability as possible, especially over a stressful period such as Christmas.

A source close to the former couple told OK!: "They’re doing what’s best for the children. The most important thing for the children is a routine and they don’t want to disrupt that. Nothing will be different just because they’re no longer together."

Announcing their split last year Paddy and Christine explained that they will continue to live in the same house together as their children remain their priority.

The former couple released a statement, sharing the sad news, which read: "We hadn't planned on sharing this publicly until we were ready but after the lack of privacy surrounding our personal life, we feel left with no other option but to clarify.

"A while ago we took the difficult decision to separate but our main focus as always is to continue loving and supporting our children. This was not an easy decision to make but we're moving forward as the best parents we can be for our three beautiful children.

"We'll always be a loving family, we still have a great relationship and still live happily in our family home together. We hope this now draws a line under anymore unwanted and unnecessary intrusion into our private life.

"Although we work in the public eye we ask kindly if you could respect our wishes for privacy on this matter. We'll be making no further comment."

The couple signed off: "Loads of love. Paddy & Christine."
