Produced by AGS Entertainment on a whopping budget of Rs. 180 crore, Bigil has been dubbed in Telugu as Whistle. Bigil, which also stars Jackie Shroff, Nayanthara, Kathir, Yogi Babu, and Vivek in crucial roles, features Vijay in a dual roles of a father and son. As the father, Vijay is seen in a gangster avatar, while he plays the coach of a women’s football team as the son. The makers spent Rs 6 crore just to erect a football stadium for a pivotal sequence.

Talking about the reviews, our critic Russel D’Silva gave the film 3.5 stars and wrote, “Bigil is a rip-roaring masala entertainer that smartly balances its mass elements with an emotional story, pulsating sports drama, and hard-hitting gangster dynamics. Watch it if you love masala movies. What it if you’re fond of South films. Watch it if you’re a diehard Thalapathy Vijay fan. Watch it if you like mass films with a good story and some logic.” So, have you watched the film? Tweet us @bollywood_life
