Britney Spears, who shares sons Sean, 16, and Jayden, 15, with her ex-husband Kevin Federline, has posted a three-minute audio clip for her fans, addressing her sons’ recent interview. The Toxic singer’s children took part in a world exclusive interview with their father, in which they discussed their fractured relationship and what they thought about their mum’s behaviour on social media.
Jayden told the Daily Mail that he hoped his mum will “get mentally better” and claimed “she should come to the realisation of whatever it is that stops her loving her family”.
Hitting back, 40-year-old Britney said Jayden was “undermining her behaviour”.
She said in view of her ? Instagram followers: “I can totally understand why my family would have a problem with me doing my own thing, maybe because I never have.
“I’m sure it is a little bit different and a touch lighter, me not being responsible for three 18-wheeler trucks with tour equipment and thousands of people to be responsible for on tour.
“So Jayden, as you undermine my behaviour just like my family always has, with, ‘Hope she gets better, I will pray for her’.
“Pray for what? I keep working so I can pay off mom’s legal fees and her house?
“Do you guys want me to get better so I can continue to give your dad $40,000 a month? Or is the reason behind you guys deciding to be hateful because it’s actually over in two years and you don’t get anything”.
The hitmaker went on to say that what she needed from her family was “unconditional love and support”.
“But guess what,” she added. “The whole twist of it all, which would’ve made a little bit more sense… I was in the greatest state I’d ever been because I was actually able to speak up 100 per cent and say no.
“It saddens me that not one of you has valued me as a person.”
She went on to say that her sons witnessed how her family had treated her and that’s all they knew.
The mother-of-two added: “I don’t believe in God anymore because of the way my family and children have treated me. There is nothing to believe anymore. I’m an Athiest, y’all.”(sic)
