The Alice Cullen of the ‘Twilight Saga’ film series takes to Instagram to announce that she gave birth to her daughter with her husband last Friday, September 16.
AceShowbiz -Congratulations are in order for Ashley Greene and Paul Khoury. The couple is officially first-time parents now after welcoming their first child together, a baby girl named Kingsley Rainn Khoury, after being married for four years.
The 35-year-old actress made use of her social media account to share the good news. It turns out she has been enjoying motherhood for several days now as she had given birth to her daughter on Friday, September 16 before making it public.
On Monday, the Alice Cullen of the “Twilight Saga” film series took to Instagram to express her joy over becoming a mom. “And just like that – everything changed. In a single moment, you came into our world and everything else faded away,” she wrote.
“The Apparition” star went on gushing, “Nothing else mattered. The love we’re engulfed in cannot be explained, only felt in the deepest of ways. We love you so much baby girl. Welcome to our world.”
Ashley also offered a glimpse of her daughter by sharing a picture of the baby’s tiny hand before revealing her daughter’s name and date of birth. Her husband shared the identical picture and caption on his own page.
Ashley and Paul first announced her pregnancy in March. At the time, the couple said via a representative to PEOPLE, “The couple is over-the-moon with excitement about expecting their first child together.”
The then-expecting mom later took to Instagram to confirm her pregnancy. Sharing some black-and-white photos of her and her husband holding a sonogram, she wrote in the caption, “I love you more than I’ve ever loved anything and somehow my heart just keeps expanding to love you EVEN more. I cannot wait to watch you share your light, love, and passion with our baby.”
Later in June, Ashley shared a picture of her bare baby bump, jokingly calling it “an alien.” She added a green alien emoji and hashtag #babyontheway behind her message.
