As TOWIE’s Arg shows off his weight loss, he joins saucy musical The Real Dirty Dancing

Calling all Dirty Dancing fans! There's a new show coming to E4 that's about to make all of your dreams come true.

The Real Dirty Dancing sees ten celebrities plucked from their day-to-day lives and placed in a jaw-dropping lakeside location for an immersive, nostalgia-packed dance experience.

Including the likes of former The Only Way Is Essex star James Argent, Geordie Shore's Marnie Simpson and presenter Anthea Turner, the lineup will compete in pairs as they battle through a series of fun challenges and dance routines inspired by the cult classic's iconic scenes.

Joining James, Anthea and Marnie are Blue’s Saffron Barker, social media star Tom Malone Jr, comedian Darren Harriott, comedian and actor Verona Rose, teacher, author and celebrity quizzer Bobby Seagull and actress Chelsee Healey.

The show is co-hosted by Dirty Dancing superfans Keith Lemon and his friend and Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts.

Keith Lemon can't contain his excitement, and trills: “Dirty Dancing is such a good film and of course I’ve been Baby myself! Twice now! Once for Let’s Dance for Comic Relief and once when we did it on The Keith & Paddy Picture Show.

"So yeah I was chuffed to be asked to host this show! And to be hosting with me mate Ashley! It’s gonna be so fun! Ya can tell how excited I am, look how many exclamation marks I’ve used! Can’t wait!”

The celebs will also have Dreamboys Creative Director Jordan Darrell on hand to offer them dance tips and advice.

Only one couple will be able to walk away victorious so they'll all need to prove they're the best Johnny and Baby – originally played by the late Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey.

Therefore, expect plenty of lake lifting, endless Mambo dancing and a whole lot of watermelon carrying.

The ten celebrities will work around the clock to prove themselves and earn their place in the show stopping finale.

Two lucky couples will take on the challenge of a lifetime – performing in the last dance of the season where they'll get the chance to perform that iconic gravity-defying lift.

In this one off performance, the rest of the celebrities will become backing dancers.

With plenty of trips, tumbles and dives along the way, this show is not one to miss.
