Arbaaz Khan on split with Malaika Arora: Everything seemed fine but it crumbled | BollywoodLife

Malaika Arora has recently been in the headlines owing to her rumoured relationship with Arjun Kapoor and we aren’t not complaining. In fact, we love how they are growing from strength to strength and are comfortable stepping out in public, hand-in-hand. Recently, Arjun Kapoor and Malaika also took off for a vacation to Maldives amidst wedding rumours. While that is that, unfortunately there are still people who sneer and give Malaika Arora side-eyes because of her split with now ex-husband, Arbaaz Khan.

Earlier, speaking of the time they decided to separate, Mala had said, “Sab ki pehli yehi raai hai ki mat karna. Koi aapko nahi kahega ki, ‘Haan, haan, please jayiye, kariye.’ That’s the first thing, ki aap soch samajh ke yeh decision lena. I went through the same thing. Even the night before I got divorced, I had my family sit with me and ask me yet again, ‘Are you sure? Are you 100 per cent about your decision?’ That was something I heard all along and rightly so.”

While that is that, now Arbaaz has opened up about their split and his view about the institution of marriage. Speaking to Good Times, he said, “Everything seemed fine but it crumbled. Things don’t work out, and it’s only fair that two people who want to take their life in their own hands will take that decision. When asked if he would recommend marriage to anyone, the actor-turned-producer said, “Of course, I would. This institution has gone on for hundreds and thousands of years. It’s like if you know that you’re going to die, you won’t stop living. Of course, the times are changing, even in the past people didn’t get married.”

Arbaaz is now dating model Giorgia Adriani. It was just recently that Arbaaz finally opened-up about his relationship with Giorgia, who accompanies him to several Bollywood dos. Speaking to a daily the actor had said, “If I had to hide my affair, I would not have brought it in open. I unhesitatingly admit that Georgia is there in my life at this point in time. Somebody who I have at his time in my life is a friend who I am also dating. Where it is going to go? Only time will tell. Yes, undoubtedly, we are together.”

He was recently also asked to comment on the wedding rumours sorrounding Malaika and Arjun. Instead of giving a serious answer, Arbaaz broke into laughter and said, “Paaji, bohot intelligent sawaal poocha hai aapne! Bohot mehnat ki hogi, poori raat aap baithe honge iske upar (Sir, you have asked a very intelligent question. You must have worked so hard on it, thought about it all night).” On the work front, he is manning the Dabangg 3 ship starring Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha. The film’s shooting is underway and is being directed by Prabhudeva. It is expected to release in the month of December this year. Stay tuned to BL for more updates and scoops!
