Mahesh will be seen playing Rishi in Maharshi who goes back to his roots which would mostly be in rural locations.

Allari Naresh was last seen in Silly Fellow, the remake of Tamil film Velainu Vandhutta Vellaikaaran, which was bombed at the box office. This time Allari Naresh is pinning lot of hopes on Mahesh Babu starrer Maharshi.
