‘Tutionmash’ for flood-hit students

Here is an app to help the schoolchildren who lost their books and other study materials in the floods. Kryt Info LLP, a Kozhikode-based start-up, has offered to provide the services of their app ‘tutionmash’ for free for two months to such students.

Mahir Bin Farooq P.P., director, told the media on Thursday that the lessons for classes 9 and 10 in the State syllabus were now available in the app on the Android platform.

The students need to fill in their details on an application form available onwww.Tutionmash.com. They would be allowed to use the app after verification by the company.

Suhair Mahmoud P.P., chief executive officer, told
The Hindu
that the students could watch online classes any time during the period.

“It will be difficult for them to retrieve the study materials they had lost in floods. Through this app, they could watch classes whenever they want and revise the lessons. The modules have been designed in such a way to help students in both English and Malayalam medium schools,” he said.

Lessons are taught through video modules by expert teachers. There are chapter-wise mock tests and previous years’ question papers for reference. Doubts can be cleared by teachers through built-in chat application.

Mr. Farooq said the app, launched last year, has 14,000 users now. Kryt Info LLP is a Startup India-approved outfit.
