Cannes 2019: Mallika Sherawat repeats her 2014 red carpet outfit but we cannot stop complaining about that brown jacket | Bollywood Life

Mallika Sherawat arrived at the French Rivera for the 72nd Cannes Film Festival. The actress will soon walk the red carpet of Cannes 2019. However, before she walks the red carpet the actress did a few photoshoots and gave us a sneak peek of her outfit. In her recent posts, Mallika has posted pictures wherein she is seen wearing a turquoise lacy gown with a keyhole neckline. The gown is designed by her favourite Parisian designer Francois Joseph Graf. She wore a tan trench coat with colossal furs at the end of her sleeves, over the gown. While we were disappointed with her trench coat, which seemed really gaudy, we also noticed some familiarity with her turquoise gown.

Interestingly, from the little that we could see of the gown from the trench coat, it reminded us of an outfit that Mallika wore at the film festival in 2014. A few years back, at 67th Cannes International Film Festival, the actress wore either a same or similar gown on the red carpet. Her then turquoise outfit designed by Emilio Pucci had similar keyhole neckline and lacy details. Which makes us believe that the actress did repeat her outfit, which wasn’t really a bad option.

However, what cannot stop complaining about is the new twist that she gave to the beautiful gown. Mallika wore a brown trench coat and it’ll be better if we stop talking about it.

What do you think of Mallika’s look? The actress has been quite a regular at the international film festival. This year, along with Mallika, other desi beauties also rocked the red carpet. Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra, Hina Khan, Diana Penty, Huma Qureshi and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are the few Indian celebrities who rocked the red carpet.
