Paul Hollywood’s estranged wife Alexandra speaks out about her ‘rough year’ after split from Great British Bake Off judge, who has moved on with 23-year-old barmaid

Bake Off star Paul Hollywood’s estranged wife has very publicly opened her heart about the couple’s painful split a year ago. 

Taking to Instagram yesterday, Alexandra Hollywood, 54, posted this contemplative picture, alone on her sofa, with the message: ‘A year ago today, my marriage ended.

There have been stories and speculation about the reasons why and to say it’s been a rough ride is somewhat of an understatement. But 12 months on I’m still here.’

She has filed for a £10 million divorce from Paul, 52, who is reported to have set up home with 23-year-old barmaid Summer Monteys-Fullam. 

Now Alex is ready to look to the future, writing: ‘I plan to live my new life boldly, grab opportunities with both hands and enjoy being me. PS and I’ll be keeping control of the TV remote.’ Every cloud…

‘They started the preliminary investigation and they then came back to me very politely a few weeks later and said that my family’s a bit boring.’
