Amidst the five year leap, THESE two actors quit Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai after Mohena Kumari Singh and Deblina Chatterjee | Bollywood Life

TV’s longest running TV series Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is currently going through major changes. The daily soap recently took a five-year leap. Kartik (Mohsin Khan) and Naira (Shivangi Joshi) got separated and while on screen there’s a lot of shuffling and drama occurring, off the screens as well, there are major changes. Recently actresses Mohena Kumari and Deblina Chatterjee left the show mid-way post the leap. The two actresses who played Kirti and Gau respectively on the screens, were hesitant to play mothers on the screens and therefore, decided to call it quits. Now, additionally, two more actors and characters have bid adieu the show.

Child actors and real-life twin brothers Shresth and Shubh Saxena, who play Kartik’s cousins Luv and Kush have exited the show as well. Well, since the show has taken a leap, the characters will be of a certain age now. Therefore, the actors won’t really be needed in the forthcoming tracks.

The two actors shared the development on their social media handle. While bidding adieu to their characters the two wrote an emotional note. They shared a collage of pictures of the two with Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi. Their caption read, “Thank You Rajan Sir, Team DKP & the YRKKH family. It was never a Reel family it is a Real Family for us. It Was a unforgettable journey of two & half year with only sweet memories & lot of masti. Currently, the track is going through a high voltage drama. Naira has decided to stay away from Kartik, and lead a single mother’s life in Goa. All of it happened when Kartik doubted on her character. Meanwhile, a new girl has been introduced in Kartik’s life.
